“There’s nothing in particular that I’ve really tried to change this year,” referring to the remarkable performance that he has kept throughout his career,” the DP Tour winner was quoted as saying by BBC.

“I think I have built good foundations off previous years and have just tried to stay on top of the fundamentals,” Rai continued addressing the fact that he was still following his previous techniques to show his dominance on the greens.

Defending RMC champion Rickie Fowler can lose his throne to Rai and if Rai manages to win the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic, he will not only get the trophy and the $9.2 million prize money but also the highly sought-after OWGR points. The golfer can take over the likes of Brooks Keopka (43) on the world rankings with the help of the OWGR points. And the OWGR Points can bring more than just rankings for the 29-year-old player.
