I will be heading up to Augusta today to continue my preparation and practice. It will be a game-time decision on whether I compete. Congratulations to 16-year-old Anna Davis on an amazing win at the @anwagolf and good luck to all the kids in the @DriveChipPutt.

According to his post, the golfer would be able to tell whether or not he would be playing at the first-ever major of the year. Since the field list, including Tiger’s name, was released on the Masters Tournament official website, people have been speculating whether he would play or not. However, he had neither confirmed nor denied the possibility of him playing there.
According to a source, Woods has already practiced at the Augusta Nationals with his son Charlie and fellow golfer Justin Thomas. The source told ESPN after the practice, “He looked good to me.”
It has been over a year since Woods has played an official golf tournament. The car accident that happened in 2021 had injured his right leg, because of which he had trouble walking.

The fans get to see him playing in December when he played with Charlie in the 2021 PNC Championship. However, the golfer had used a golf cart to move around the 36-hole event. The fact that he couldn’t walk properly then had concerned his fans then.
Nevertheless, the recent tweet has made his fans happy as this is the first time Woods has spoken about the Masters.
Fans’ reaction to new Tiger Woods update
The Twitter post of him has gained attention as soon as he posted it. The news has spread over the internet like a wildfire, as the fans are happy to finally hear from the legend.
Honestly, even if Tiger plays 2 rounds and is +20, his presence will make the Masters one of the best stories of 22

Since it is not confirmed whether he would play or not, many fans showed their skepticism through their comments.
If he plays great. He has zero chance of being competitive. If he truly plays only to win then he won’t play because there is no chance he can win or even compete. Top 20 would be great but more than likely top 40. 2020 Masters he finished 19 shots behind DJ btw
