Fans’ reaction to the fan quoting Will Smith at the 2022 Zurich Classic
The incident happened in the middle of a golf tournament. Therefore, many felt that the fan indeed needs a punishment.
Perfect. These folks do not understand the meaning of the word "spectator".

Wrong on all levels. This isn’t football, this is golf. Let’s put in a strict 0 tolerance policy leaving eviction from the course as the path to disruption. Being disruptive not only ruins it for the golfers but it ruins it for the spectators

The audience usually yells, “Get in the hole,” whenever a golfer makes a putt. The PGA Tour even expelled fans for yelling “Brooksy” during Bryson DeChambeau played his shot. Furthermore, they yell “Baba Booey,” “Mashed Potatoes,” and many other meaningless words.
It is not the first time an audience member or the crowd has yelled like this during a tournament. Therefore, many fans compared the incident with the past events and which one they preferred the most as a joke.
I’ll take this over mashed potatoes guy all day. Well played.
