A lot of big names are literally struggling to make the cut at the PGA Championship. That is how tough the competition has gotten. Among these golfers is another name who has heavily disappointed his fans with his performance. And it is none other than the 2022 PGA Championship winner, Justin Thomas. However, there is someone who was extremely confident about Thomas’ game even before the tournament began. And after Justin Thomas saw a viral video of this person hyping him up, his reaction was priceless.

Justin Thomas reacts to DJ Khaled’s hype video

Currently tied at 67th, the golfer has taken away all hope from his fans. While players like Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau have taken the leaderboard by storm, Thomas has to sit back and think about where he went wrong. But despite all the disappointment that he has caused to his fans during the game, DJ Khaled hasn’t given up on the golfer.

As per a recent video shared by golfoncbs, Justin Thomas can be seen reacting to a video shared by DJ Khaled. And in the clip, the music legend talks about how JT stands a chance to win “another one” and can defend his title from last year. “My PGA Champion pick is Justin Thomas,” says Khaled in the video. “They believe in us…Justin, stay focused! Keep going and keep winning”.

Khaled, who has recently found his love in the game, seemed pretty confident about picking Thomas as his predicted PGA Championship winner. “Hit them bombs,” he added. “Another one. Let’s go golfing!” But the question is – Can Justin Thomas still think of winning the tournament?

Well, his performance during the first two rounds certainly doesn’t point toward his victory. Not to mention, his reaction to the video was pretty awkward as well. “Another one! I guess so,” he said right before walking away with a laugh.

Can Justin Thomas defend his PGA Championship title?

Thomas successfully made the cut after the second round finishing 59th. Notably, his second round began with a bogey on the second hole. Moreover, he ended his round at 73 with four bogeys, three birdies, and a double bogey. Currently, the PGA Tour star is tied with Phil Mickelson at the 67th position. If he still hopes to win the tournament, he might have to score some amazing birdies and aces in the remaining rounds.
