The 2023 season has been brilliant for Rahm. Not only did he grab three PGA Tour victories, but he also took home a major win just last month! The entire season, he’s flaunted his skills and displayed his composure in the game. But surprisingly, this week, things have not gone quite his way at Oak Hill. With wayward shots and multiple bogeys, he’s found himself in unusual territory, filled with frustration.
His slow start in the first round had certainly ignited irritation, and on the second day, things only got worse. And while playing the back nine during the second round, he finally let it all loose after a mishit!
On the 11th hole, the reigning Masters champion hit a long iron on the 245-yard par-3 that did not land on the green the way it was expected. To express his utter dissatisfaction, Jon Rahm opted to profusely drop loud F-bombs on the course, caught by his hot mic. “Great hole, PGA. Great f*cking hole!” he screamed in frustration.

Rory McIlroy, too, is in a similar boat compared to the two-time major winner. Claiming that his body was fighting something, he got off to a slow start in the first round. And unfortunately, the misfortune continued, and the world no. 3’s round on Friday was a mess too! And just like the world’s No. 1, his frustration boiled up too, and at one particular hole he needed a release!
Right off the tee, the Northern Irishman hit a poor shot and, as a result, chose to drop a loud F-bomb on the course. Voicing his dissatisfaction with the shot, he yelled, “F*cking pity!” loudly on the course.
