“It’s nice to have friends and family that are so disconnected from what I do,” admitted the 31-year-old influencer. Paige Spiranac also divulged how such a situation helps keep her “grounded and humble” instead of easily getting caught up in one’s world. Funnily enough, the same people (enter family) who kept her modest also presented her with an “embarrassing” memory to cherish forever!
Erik Anders Lang and the female golfer teamed up on a new episode of his channel, Random Golf Club. In it, Spiranac recounted an embarrassing instance she had as a junior golfer, all thanks to her mom, Annette Spiranac.

In the new video titled ‘Going Low with Paige Spiranac’, the diva recollected how the officials had roped off the way to get to the range when she, a 13-year-old, visited the course with her mom. “I had my bag on my back,” said Spiranac before describing how her mother stepped on the rope for her. “I go to step over it; she let it go too soon, and I faceplant on the range in front of everyone.”
Sounds embarrassing? Wait! There’s more. The golf queen didn’t stop her story there as she added how there were a lot of people around as well, especially boys; “There’s, like, all these, like, boys around and I’m 13, freaking out. It was so embarrassing.” The experience she just revealed puts all her previous humiliating and awkward moments to the ground, especially the time when she mixed up a high-five and a fist bump.
Regardless of the unfortunate experience, the American athlete is still grateful for having close friends and family, especially her mother. “There’s days where sometimes I’ll complain about something to some of my friends, and they’re like, ”You literally have the best job in the world.'” Spiranac, while divulging the same, pointed out how nice it was to have such close people who helped her stay grounded in the “truth.”
One can’t expect the golfing influencer to have only glamorous moments now, can they?! Interestingly, she had even revealed a couple of such moments on social media, both of which occurred on the greens.

Yes, Spiranac does have other humiliating memories
Back in 2023, the athlete, in partnership with XGolf, had to create some golfing content. “I had to do a clinic with XGolf where I just hit some shots and kind of just talked about my pre-shot routine,” recounted Spiranac before adding how the first day went without any hitches. But come the second day, it all tumbled down; “…very first shot, I cold shanked it. It was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me. Oh my gosh, it was brutal.”

Now let us move a bit forward to March 2024. The golf queen narrated another such experience she had on one of her Instagram stories. Spiranac described how she was playing in a Pro-Am. A golfer then made a birdie putt, leading to everyone celebrating, but there was just one single problem: a guy was alternating between high fives and fistbumps. She said, “It’s always awkward cause you never know if you’re gonna go for like the high-five, the fist bump. He was mixing it up for everyone.”
And when her turn came, the model went for a high-five. However, the guy went for a fist bump. “It was so incredibly uncomfortable,” said the golfer while thinking back. Well, now she has another one to add to her list of revealed embarrassing moments!
