‘People Forget’: As Patriotic Failure Turns Into Fatigue, LPGA’s Megan Khang Makes an Unexpected Admission

The 2023 Solheim Cup was an utter disappointment for American veterans since they have entered a hat-trick year of drought. Despite that, one cannot discard the efforts of Stacy Lewis’ warriors. The team tried its best and even took the score to 14-14 with Europe. But given that the Solheim Cup doesn’t have playoffs, Europe retained the cup and came out victorious. 

Now, one of the wounded soldiers of America who made an impeccable contribution to the game. Megan Khang recently disclosed a major concern about golfers which was quite uncalled for.

LPGA phenom Megan Khang makes an honest confession

Megan Khang is one of the prominent names on the LPGA circuit that is trending currently. The credits go to her excellent form and gameplay. Also, instances of the same were seen on the Spanish greens.

Khang won three of the four matches she participated in, and in the remaining one, she tied with the opponents. Now, after a hectic week of continuous golf, the LPGA pro needed a break. Hence, she took a short stroll around when she was in Spain. 

In a recent interview, she was asked how much she needed a vacation. To which she answered, “Golf takes us to incredible places, Spain being one of them. And, you know, I was out there for four extra days, and I’m probably not going to get back out to Spain until maybe after my career, in a sense, to go on a vacation. And so I knew I was going to have a couple weeks off; might as well take advantage of it.” She even posted pictures of the vacation on her Instagram.

Added to that, Khang continued, “I think sometimes you’ve got to look at it and be like, hey, I deserve a break. It is a long year. I think people forget that. And, you know, it’s okay to treat yourself once in a while.” One of Megan’s European rivals was also seen enjoying the post-Solheim days 

European veteran enjoys her gala days after Solheim Cup win

The European squad member, Charley Hull, had bid a final goodbye to the Solheim Cup days and was quite enjoying the fall. A few days after the Solheim Cup, the LPGA star posted a picture wearing a baby pink bikini and enjoying a pool party.

Then, again, she posted a cafe date on her Instagram, where, from the caption, it could be understood that she went out with her elder sister. Also, a few days ago, she was noticed hanging out with fellow golfer Annabel Dimmock for clubbing. Thus, the golfers are quite relishing their leisure time after the patriotic showdown.
