Is Patton Kizzire's gear the secret sauce behind his performance at the Procore Championship?

36-year-old Patton Kizzire has been a Titleist-sponsored athlete almost all his career. The PGA Tour star turned pro in 2008 and since then the equipment has served him well, helping him win twice on the Tour. This season the American star even found 2 top-10 finishes, at the Myrtle Beach Classic and the Barracuda Championship. And this week he’s looking to add the first title of this season and the third of his career at the 2024 Procore Championship, While he holds the lead ahead of the final round, let’s take a look at what he’s got in his bag to assist him.

For his needs off the tee, Kizzire uses the new Titleist GT3 Driver with 9 degrees of loft which costs consistent impact points. It has an adjustable CG point which Titleist says will increase distance and control.

Coming to his irons he uses three different designs. For the 3 and 4 irons, he uses the 2023 T200s distance irons. These irons are almost blades that give golfers speed, launch, and forgiveness. They cost $200 each. His 5 iron is a Titleist T100 which was also released in 2023 and is the most Tour-centric set of irons Titleist has. They both give a great feel and have Vokey-inspired bounce. It gives players great control of the milled face in order to shape shots.
