The 2022 PGA Championship is just around the corner, and the speculation about Tiger Woods teeing up at the event is as high as ever. He even went to the venue of the major championship event for a practice round on April 28 and was in the limelight due to a pro-Patrick Reed Twitter account criticizing him. Moreover, the account recently made another tweet around the same lines.

GolfFACTS, a Twitter account that Reed’s wife Justine supposedly handles, recently made another bold tweet about the 15-time major championship winner. Moreover, the tweet was based around Woods’ practice round at Southern Hills back in April. The tweet was made on May 13 and talked about how Patrick Reed did not get a yardage book while he went to Tulsa for a practice round before the 2022 PGA Championship.
Moreover, the tweet was uploaded with a lengthy caption highlighting the same. At the same time, the tweet seems to point toward the hypocrisy of the course between the two professionals. But Woods’ fans will not appreciate the tweet GolfFACTS made.
The long statement said, “Patrick Reed showed up the week prior to to Play Southern Hills… they told him they didn’t have any yardage books that he could buy/use to play his prac rounds before the major. This isn’t about Tiger Woods or Patrick Reed- this is about fair treatment.”

However, this is not the only time such a tweet has emerged from the account. GolfFACTS earlier seemed to highlight the biased nature of PGA or the course director at Southern Hills when the course director was discussing his notes with Woods. But the significant difference between that tweet and this one is in the recent one. The pro-Reed account is not targeting Tiger Woods directly but seems to point toward unfair treatment.
When did Tiger Woods win his first PGA Championship title?
Tiger won his second major championship event in 1999. It was his first PGA Championship triumph. Moreover, he won the event with an overall score of 11-under-par. As a result, Woods won with a narrow one-shot lead after the final round at Medinah Country Club. The former World Number One carded a final round of even-par 71 to finish on the top of the leaderboard.

Tiger made four bogeys and one birdie on the back nine to end his final round. Moreover, Sergio Garcia finished as the runner-up to Woods. He ended the event with an overall score of 10-under-par. As a result, Garcia had to settle for a solo second position finish. Do you think Tiger will play next week?
