Patrick Reed is among the famous names playing at the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA Tour this week. Apart from being a successful professional, the American player also likes cartoons. The 31-year-old golfer recently spoke about what he usually watches on the television with his kids.

Patrick Reed spoke about his love for childhood cartoons and classics in the recent episode of Beyond the Clubhouse podcast. He spoke about his daughter Windsor Wells Reed this week before playing at the TPC Potomac.

Reed revealed how he likes watching the old animated shows like Tom & Jerry while he is home with his daughter and his son Barrett Benjamin Reed. He admitted his fondness for 90’s childhood shows after being asked how he keeps his children in line.

He said, “So they control the TVs. And the good thing is I mean, being only 31 that gives me an excuse to watch all the kids shows and kids movies with them.”

The one-time major championship winner added, “You know the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles watch the Jurassic Worlds again, watch, you know, watch all the Tom and Jerry’s in the morning. Good to watch all that stuff again, you know, and feel okay about it.

Patrick’s words prove how much he loves to spend time with his kids at his home. At the same time, it also depicts his likeness to watching his childhood shows.

What did Patrick Reed shoot in his opening round?

The American professional made a solid start to his 2022 Wells Fargo Championship campaign. He ended the opening round on Thursday at the challenging golf course with an overall score of two-under-par. As a result, he is in tied 38th position and is five shots back from the leader heading into the second round on Friday.

He carded an opening round of two-under-par 68. Reed’s opening round included one birdie, a bogey, and seven pars on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in level-par, 35. Patrick made two birdies and seven pars on the back nine to finish strong on the leaderboard.
