Paige Spiranac's worries were for nothing—did she underestimate her own influence at the Creator Classic?

It’s fairly okay to be nervous before a tournament and that was exactly the case with Paige Spiranac prior to the long-awaited PGA Tour’s Creator Classic. We all know how the golfer has been struggling with her mental health and anxiety for the past few years, so being nervous about such a big game was probable. While Spiranac might not have won the competition she did finish with a decent score by surpassing a few well-known players.

The golfer wasn’t sure how she was going to play at the big game. So before the tournament took off she went on her X account and tweeted, “It’s the week of the Creator Classic! Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunityEven the odds were not in her favor. According to the golfer, she was only there to have fun but man did she do more than that.

In a field full of golfers like Garret Clark, Mason Nutt, and Gabriella Degaspries it was a tough chance for Spiranac to emerge through the challenge. She just didn’t want to finish last and she didn’t! Spiranac finished in the 9th position with a decent score of 2 over par which was better than 7 players on the field of sixteen. So yes, she pretty much nailed it.

Despite her struggles, she had found the courage to speak out and inspire others. And with her latest appearance at the Creator Classic fans are glad to know that she is doing well.
