Back in May, the golf queen had dubbed Rory McIlroy over Scottie Scheffler as her “favorite” to win the 2024 PGA Championship. But now, the Northern Irishman is nowhere to be seen in her latest predictions. Yes, Paige Spiranac is back at it again with her picks for the upcoming major championship. And it seems the current No. 1 athlete has caught her eyes to win the 2024 U.S. Open along with her friend Bryson DeChambeau.

The golfing diva did not disappoint her fans as the 124th edition of the event slowly inches closer to its start. Spiranac, consequently, took to her social media to dish out her “US Open Picks” as per the odds. She made sure to include Scheffler as well as the LIV Golf pro on the list, along with another PGA Tour pro, Collin Morikawa.

“If you wanna win a U.S. Open, every aspect of your game has to be firing on all cylinders,” mentioned Spiranac, in her latest Instagram story, before revealing her favorite golfers to win the major. She then went ahead to divulge two categories that stuck out to her and influenced the model’s decisions: “Amazing iron players and short game wizards.”

The 31-year-old then admitted her top pick to be the 2024 Masters champ, followed by the other two. She said, in an obvious manner, “Because of those two things, I’m looking at, of course, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Collin Morikawa for my outright.” One can’t blame Spiranac for her picks, especially since the three boast very good stats on the greens. Their excellent gameplay has helped them finish many times inside the top 10 with the current No. 1 having 12 finishes, including 5 wins, Morikawa boasting 6, and the LIV Golf Pro having 4 on the Saudi-backed circuit, not to mention his recent T2 at the PGA Championship.

When it comes to their skills, the golfers sure are a cut above the rest, with Scheffler ranking first in total Strokes Gained (2.913), GIR% (73.52%), Putting Average (1.666), and SG: Approach to Green (1.528), among others. Morikawa, at the same time, boasts great numbers when it comes to Putting Average (1.706), and Birdie or Better Conversion percentage (35.73%), while DeChambeau has a GIR% of 72.45% and an Eagle Average of 0.29 in the PIF-funded circuit.

The American influencer was, as a result, very firm in her belief when she dished out her U.S. Open picks. Even so, that did not stop Paige Spiranac from making any more predictions, as she continued her Instagram story while divulging the probable athletes who might finish inside the top 5, top 10, and top 20.

“Here are some other bets that I’m also liking,” continued the 31-year-old Spiranac before predicting how Tommy Fleetwood would place himself inside the top 5. She followed it with a couple of other bets while mentioning how Keegan Bradley would finish inside the top 10, while Aaron Rai was placed inside the top 20 by the diva.

It looks like the hype of the upcoming major has gotten to Paige Spiranac as well, seeing as how she made her bets for the event. Do you think her predictions will pan out as per her wishes or are there other golfers who have an equal, if not a greater, chance?
