What rule does Sprianac want to change in golf?

Golf is governed by a lot of rules. Some of them might be really confusing as to why it is in use, and Paige Spiranac recently gave one such example. A lot of amateur golfers might encounter the ‘Provisional Ball’ (Rule 18.3), and sometimes it could get tricky. Spiranac thinks that it is a ‘stupid rule.’

“Why is it that after you hit your provisional and you find your other ball but you decide you don’t want to play it and you have to go back and provisional? The option should be that, if you find your golf ball you can have the option to either take an unplayable or if you don’t want to that you can go and play your provisional ball,” Spiranac said.
