Paige Spiranac Reveals if She’ll Ever Play Professionally Again: ‘That’s Where My Real Focus Is’

Paige Spiranac might have failed to create a successful career in golf. However, she has managed to create a huge fan base thanks to her social media skills. During a recent podcast, Spiranac was asked if she still considers playing golf professionally and her decision was straightforward.

Paige Spiranac was recently invited to The Bunkered Podcast, where she discussed her career and the most recent happenings in the world of Golf. Spiranac also talked about LIV Golf and Phil Mickelson. But the one topic which Spiranac discussed in the podcast intrigued everyone. Spiranac’s fans have been curious about whether Paige Spiranac will attempt to play professional golf again or not.

What was Spiranac’s answer?

Paige Spiranac has played in the Cactus Tour, which was a developmental Tour before the LGPA Tour came into existence. In 2016, she did attempt to join the LGPA Tour by playing in Qualifying Tournament, but did not earn the card to play on the professional circuit.

The interviewer asked if the door for playing professional was still open for Paige Spiranac. She replied, “Like I said, like, sometimes when I’m playing really well, I’m like, I think I still have it. But mentally I just don’t know if I’m strong enough to play professionally and especially at the level that these women are playing now. It is unbelievable.”

Spiranac further added how the competition has improved in Women’s professional golf. She said, “Unbelievable the level of golf that they’re playing, and I just don’t know if I worked as hard as I possibly could dedicate everything to it. I don’t think I could ever be top five top 10 in the world.”

With young female golfers like Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko, Jessica Korda, and many others, the LGPA Tour’s future looks promising and competitive.

Paige Spiranac is currently focused on her social media career

Though Spiranac had a failed professional golf career, it is fair to say that she bounced back pretty quick. Paige Spiranac is now the most followed golf entity with an astonishing 3.4 million followers on Instagram.

Even during the podcast, Spiranac claimed how her successful social media career overshadowed her deteriorated Golf career. She said, “It’s like why do something if you can’t get to the level that you want to be and with, you know, my media work I am, you know, number one with what I’m doing especially like on Instagram. So that’s where my real focus is.”

In the end, the 2022 Maxim Sexiest Woman alive said how she wants to keep growing as a person, along with her social media following. But Spiranac hasn’t opted out the option of returning to professional golf as she said, “But you never know.”
