The PGA schedule for the 2020-21 season featured a total of 48 events. While winning each one of them is simply impossible (let alone contesting), there are 4 prominent competitions that every pro golfer dreams of winning. These competitions are what we call the Major Championships in men’s golf. Every major has its own charm; some are in awe of the golf course, whereas some rank their opinions on the basis of prize money. Recently, popular ex-golfer, Paige Spiranac, revealed her least favorite Major Championship, and quoted that the tournament “could be better.”

What did Spiranac say regarding her least favorite Major Championship?
The social media star revealed her choice on her podcast ‘Playing around with Paige Renee’. She was speaking about the PGA Tour and the LIV series and how the former could pick the brains of the Saudi-backed league to get fans excited about golf events. “We look forward to the masters. I mean, the build up for the Masters is incredible,” she said.

She further added, “We love the US Open. We love the PG….well, we’re starting, the PGA is hit or miss. I think the PGA could be better. It’s not one of my favorite.”
“Out of the four majors. It’s Fourth on the list for me.”
Paige also mentioned her thoughts on the Open Championship and called it “something that everyone looks forward to.”
Paige Spiranac exposes ‘The Agenda for Sponsorships on social media’
During the same podcast, she revealed her annoyance with LIV commentary on social media, and the number of disguised sponsors hailing the rebel series. “I have sort of been tired of seeing the LIV commentary on social media, especially Twitter,” she said. “And whether you like it or not LIV has been in the news and for controversial reasons.”

She spoke further about the issue. “It’s very clear what their agenda is. You can tell the people who are for LIV and they’re trying to get live sponsorships or work with LIV and it’s all pro LIV. And to me, it seems a little disingenuous, especially when you see people saying not sponsored, I love LIV and then the next week or next couple of weeks, they’re working with LIV and it’s like, oh, well, no probably was sponsored.”

Spiranac was critical of these influencers and felt they were tainted in a very negative light. A self-acclaimed advocate of golf, she felt transparency was the need of the hour, be it in the existing PGA Tour, or the rebel LIV series.

“I’m not team PGA Tour, I’m not team live. I’m Team golf, and I just want golf to be in a really great place,” Spiranac iterated.
