Paige Spiranac is not an unknown figure in the world of golf. The social media personality and former golfer is known for her bold statements and her bold style in the golf fraternity, and fans absolutely love her for being herself. To put it in simpler words, Spiranac is renowned for speaking her heart out. She recently partnered with LA Golf and recreated an iconic picture of an OG golf legend! (image below)

Paige Spiranac’s tribute to a golf legend

Spiranac told her fans that she has partnered with LA Golf, a company owned by Acushnet Holdings Corp. worth $3.35 billion, and her post is inspired by none other than a Golf Hall of Famer. “Took inspiration from the legend herself!”

She also mentioned that she and LA Golf are planning something special to honor 71-year-old Jan Stephenson. “We are working on something special to honor her. I love to recreate images from women who have inspired me and also give credit where it is due. Jan is the OG.” Who is Jan Stephenson?

Jan Stephenson is the OG of women’s golf. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1974, winning 3 major championships and 16 LPGA Tour championships. The list of her achievements does not end here. She also has 41 worldwide victories that include LPGA Legends Tour wins and 8 worldwide major championships as well. Oh, and did we mention, she also has 15 hole-in-ones! She definitely is the OG, and Paige Spiranac paid tribute to her with a recreation of one of her classic images.

Former professional golfer Paige Spiranac posted a picture of herself with a tub full of golf balls. Her post came in as a result of her partnership with LA Golf. She also mentioned that Stephenson has inspired her, and she loves to give credit to people when it is long due. 

One fan commented on the lack of originality and touched on the average age of Spiranac’s audience, who may never have seen or known of the original image from 1985. It was part of the Jan Stephenson 1986 calendar, with sales proceeds going to charity.

Fans loved her post, and the admiration was poured in abundance. A few followers used adjectives to communicate their feelings about Spiranac’s golf ball tub image tweet.
