Despite her vibrant and outgoing persona on social media, Paige Spiranac has always opted to keep her personal life private. Mostly talking about golf, her fans, and work, Spiranac rarely discusses issues and more online. This time, however, Spiranac chose to reveal some important news with her followers.

While she did ask people to continue respecting her privacy, Spiranac made sure to break the news.

According to the 28-year-old, she is no longer married. Often speaking to her fans on Instagram via Q&As, Spiranac chose to address the issue.

Now, anyone following Spiranac regularly is familiar with her high regard for privacy. As a result, any piece of information confirmed by the retired golfer herself means a lot to fans and followers.

The timeline of her split is also unknown. However, Spiranac had stopped posting regularly in February. She ended up updating fans on YouTube, promising better things in 2022. While nothing about Tinoco was mentioned, she did move to Colorado. Though the YouTuber herself has not confirmed anything, she admitted to being ‘low on bettery’ during the same time period.

During a recent Q&A session, Spiranac chose to confirm that she is no longer married. “I do get this question a lot so I do want to address it. I was married,” Spiranac said. “If you could just respect my privacy, it would mean a lot to me.”

As Spiranac barely posted about her ex-husband Steven Tinoco publically, almost no updates were available to fans. Furthermore, Spiranac has mentioned Tinoco publically only a handful of times. His support, however, was never in question.

Who was Spiranac’s husband Steven Tinoco?

A Minor League Baseball player and personal trainer, Tinoco and Spiranac were engaged in 2016. The couple tied the knot two years later in Dubai. Interestingly, they met while Tinoco was already in a relationship, and got together later.

“He’s in a relationship and I’m engaged. I flirted with him in junior golf but he rejected me haha been mending a broken heart since then,” Spiranac explained. They lived together as well, Tinoco actively supporting her.

Spiranac further revealed that they met when her career was starting and had stuck with her since. She referred to Tinoco as ‘understanding’, aware that all her work is only ‘business’ for her.

That being said, Tinoco was on the Long Beach State University’s baseball team and also a Round 34 pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010. He played in the minor league before training others. In fact, Tinoco is also certified by NESTA.

In the end, there is no way for fans to know why exactly Spiranac and Tinoco broke up. With Spiranac being extremely private, her refusal to discuss the matter is unsurprising. Of course, one cannot stop fans from theorizing and commenting on their own.
