Paige Spiranac Is a Curse on Team USA? 30YO Golf Beauty Makes a Staggering Revelation

The Ryder Cup is one of the oldest international tournaments. The first match was teed off in 1927 at Worcester Country Club. That year, the USA won the first trophy with a score of 9.5-2.5. Also, Walter Hagen became the first captain to lift the trophy. Since then, the USA has had a total of 27 wins in this biennial tournament.

In contrast to that, Europe had 15 wins after the recent Rome victory. But as history follows, since 1993, the USA has had a major Ryder Cup drought for 30 years on European soil. Recently,  Paige Spiranac made a staggering revelation, holding herself responsible for the situation.

The diva Paige Spiranac barely played on the LPGA Tour. Soon after she became a professional golfer, Spiranac decided to retire and do social media influence as her full-time job. Even she has her own OnlyPaige forum for her one-to-one fan interaction.

Thus, seemingly, she is nowhere related to the Ryder Cup at all. Except for the predictions she makes every year. Apart from that, the social butterfly has no part in the coveted tournament. But as she joined a recent podcast, her shocking revelation moved the American veterans for a minute. 

She held herself responsible for the American failure in the Ryder Cup on European terrain. She said in the interview, “30 year streak continues, they haven’t won in 30 years, when they have played over in Europe, which is just insane to think about, you know, I think that I might be bad luck here. The year 1993. Every year that I’ve been born, they have not won.” 

She shed light on the fact that she might be the curse since 1993 is the date she was born, and since then, America hasn’t won the Ryder Cup in Europe. While it might be just a coincidence, the assertion creates great intrigue. Apart from this, Paige also attempted to talk about a recent Ryder Cup bicker on the podcast.

Recently, Patrick Cantlay‘s bagman, Joe LaCava, got into an altercation with Rory McIlroy. An exchange of harsh words took place. Following that, Paige put her opinion on the same.

She said that Joe might have crossed the line during the Saturday fourballs, but he was trying to cheer Cantlay. He was only doing his caddie job. “A caddy should never really interfere as much as Joe did. But you got to think about this way. Patrick Cantlay was getting shit for about six hours straight. And it was a lot and his role is to protect his player…And most caddies, their job is highly underrated”. While Paige understood the situation, Rory certainly couldn’t.
