Almost two months after his retirement announcement, Tom Brady has changed his decision. He will be back as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback in the NFL for his 23rd season. While this was happy news for Buccs, fans of other teams like Paige Spiranac don’t approve of the decision.

Recently, the former golfer talked about the same on her podcast, Playing a Round with Paige Renee, with her co-host, Amanda Rose. In the latest episode, Spiranac and Amanda discussed many things, including the analysis of the Players Championship and Tom Brady’s sudden change of plans.

When Amanda said that 47 is the maximum age until Brady can play on the NFL without getting hurt, Spiranac couldn’t help but disagree with her. “I think I would have a different opinion on this,” said the former golfer. “If he chose a different team,” she added.

“You (Brady) won with the Bucs, you’ve won with the Patriots, let’s go to a team that REALLY needs a quarterback,” Spiranac further said.

So according to Spiranac, it would have been better if he chose a different team than the Bucs on his return, as it would have been more meaningful.

“The Steelers would be an amazing place to play,” said Paige. As a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, the former golfer hoped the QB would help them win a Super Bowl. Although she was joking with that comment, she wished Brady would join a different team this time.

“Honestly, it’s like, go somewhere else,” Spiranac further added, “Go play for the Dolphins that would really solidify your legacy, or go to the Jets!” Spiranac explained that she would love to see Brady help a weaker team win the Super Bowl than stay with the already established teams.
