“Let’s just be honest; it’s not good,” the 29-years-old said. “And it’s not good for golf.” She expressed her opinion about the LIV Golf and PGA Tour conflict in the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’
Notably, the American golf organization has not been on good terms with LIV golf since its inception. The latter allured many PGA Tour players to join them by offering them millions of guaranteed money. On the other hand, the Tour suspended all the players who joined their rival league from all its events.
After months of having conflicts, the LIV players have even filed an antitrust lawsuit against the Tour. And Spiranac thinks that none of their actions are helping in favor of the betterment of the sport.

How is the LIV Golf Series different from PGA Tour events?
As the rival league of the PGA Tour, the LIV Golf has several features that make it different from the Tour. The huge difference between the Tour and LIV Series is their schedules. While the Tour has more than 40+ tournaments scheduled for each season, there are only eight events in the 2022 season for LIV Series. The latter is a 54-hole event, whereas the official Tour events are 72-hole tournaments.

The Saudi-backed league also doesn’t provide OWGR points for its players like other Tours. The Series has shotgun starts instead of the designated tee times and only has 48 players on its field.
