She said, “When you look at Tigers career why it’s so special because it’s not phases like you look at all these golfers like Sam’s not wrong like it was a phase like he was playing really well for a while and he like disappeared. It’s just how the game of golf is where like when you’re confident you’re gonna play well but like how long can you keep that going?”
She added, “And it was Tiger’s B game was still dominant and that was so impressive. I mean how many cuts he made in a row how many tournaments he played well, even when he wasn’t swinging well. Tiger found a way to win and I think a lot of these players just it’s not that they’ve lost it or it’s just the ebbs and flows of golf and I think that’s what makes it so hard.”
Moreover, Paige’s words prove how tough it is to stay consistent in golf. At the same time, it also shows how Woods has dominated the sport with his immense talent and skills. It is incredible to hear how Tiger has managed to be consistent throughout his career.
