Comparing the situation to years ago, one might say that the PGA Tour has come a long way. Events have become more inclusive with time, also looking to grow golf as a game. However, judging by what Paige Spiranac and Amanda Rose have to say, the tour has a long way to go.
Though no one has a way of confirming the exact details of events, Rose has voiced her displeasure with the PGA Championship this week.
Everyone in golf-“let’s get more women in the game and support them,”
Also golf-“No”

As per the analyst, the major did not clear her credentials for the event. Having covered the PGA Championship earlier, this came as a shock to Rose. Naturally, she took to Twitter, garnering enough support from her followers. Spiranac, who co-hosts her podcast with Rose, came to her defense.
Spiranac on Amanda Rose and the PGA Championship issue
As per Rose, what the PGA Championship is doing is not right, and called out to her followers for support. Later, she added that the hate she receives only proves how much she is good at what she does. Rose asked her followers or trolls to keep on hating, using it as something to fuel her.
The response was mainly positive, many asking the PGA Championship to approve Rose. Some disagreed, siding with the PGA Tour event and now Rose. However, most fans seemed disappointed in the tour, which is claiming to change and evolve with time.
Spiranac, who was firm on her stand, started out by calling out the tour on somewhat double standards. While they do speak about women playing golf and moving the game ahead, denying someone like Rose seems to be against all of that.
The PGA Championship, of course, is yet to respond.
I guess they need to exclude all the women on the LPGA who have posted bikini pictures then. Newsflash, it’s a lot of them. Or how about the spring break crew? Brooks because he did the body issue? I could go on…

In the end, Spiranac furthered her point by replying to a user. The Twitter user spoke about professionals on the field, and how they end up prioritized. The golf influencer had an answer ready to go, not losing her stand.
