Max Homa and his wife, Lacey Homa, announced earlier today, the birth of their first child, Cam Andrew Homa. The PGA Tour star announced the pleasant news on all of his social media handles. Following the announcement, the golf world congratulated Homa on entering parenthood. Let’s take a look at who congratulated the Californian golfer.
Max Homa’s golf career has been on the horizon. He won twice on the PGA Tour this year and had a performance worth remembering at the 2022 Presidents Cup. However, another piece has been added to Homa’s year of joy after the birth of his baby boy.

The birth of Homa’s baby has been much awaited, as the golfer had a gender reveal party with his wife after The Masters in April. Rory McIlroy even teased him for entering parenthood. The wait was finally over today.
Max Homa is proud of his wife
Homa first announced the birth on his Twitter page. He then posted an image of his newborn, his wife, and himself on his Instagram page. Below the post, Homa had a heartfelt caption, in which he shared the challenges faced by his wife Lacey during the birth procedure.

He wrote, “He is healthy, peaceful, and happy. Full transparency, Lacey had some complications and had to have multiple surgeries”. The 31-year-old also mentions that his wife spent some time in the ICU, before the birth of their baby. Fortunately, she was later released from the postpartum room later.

Max Homa further thanked everyone by writing, “Thank u to everyone who has reached out to help. It means the world to us. We are already so in love with him”. He ends by claiming how proud he is of his wife and expresses his admiration towards her.

Golf’s biggest social media entity, Paige Spiranac congratulated by writing, “Big congratulations to you and @lacehomaLittle Cam is lucky to have you both as amazing parents!” LPGA Tour star, Danielle Kang, followed with a message that read, “He’s unreal.. congratulations”.

Homa mentioned two weeks ago, that he would be taking a break from professional golf. However, he confirmed his participation in Tiger Woods‘ annual Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas in early December. Nonetheless, as good of a golfer as he is, he might as well be a great father.
