His Youtube channel where he shared his pearls of wisdom has over 107k subscribers and hundreds of thousands of views. People want to know what he has to say because his genius on the course is truly astounding.

When speaking at the Mixed Zone before the Open Championship came to its natural conclusion, the Irish Pro answered some direct questions without flinching. He was asked for any advice for maiden Major winner Brian Harman to which he pointed out that during the pandemic he shared his advice on the psychological aspect of golf and the videos hardly received any “traction.” Still, Harrington has a brilliant opinion of the American winner of the 151st Open Championship.

I think Brian Harman is a very dogged person. He’s the right person to hold a lead like that. Clearly he hasn’t won a major, but he’s a very tough, experienced character,” he said. The veteran golfer also talked about how when a player takes the lead, the golfing community is abuzz to see if they can maintain the position or slide down the ranks by the end. However, he did not think that was the case with Harman.

He’s like playing with a chip on his shoulder like he’s fighting something,” he said. The experienced pro golfer may have predicted the outcome of the event in his own way too. When speaking of the different scenarios that Harman faced, Harrington added, “He’s got so many scenarios, so many outs. He’s holding all the cards. That’s just the way it is.”

Even though the veteran pro did not offer any actual advice for the 151st winner of the Open Championship saga, he had a high opinion of the golfer’s potential. He refrained from sharing any actual advice because he already shared them on his social media channels. Perhaps referring to those nuggets of wisdom will help other golfers in the community also claim difficult titles with the help of psychology.
