Charley Hull’s extreme lifestyle has always been a topic of discussion for the golf community. Her intense training routines are always acknowledged by the fans as they enjoy watching their favorite golf superstar achieve her fitness goals. They also don’t shy away from criticizing Hull for the mistakes she makes in her life. And the English pro thrives under all the attention she gets as she constantly communicates with her fans. But there have been moments where she has gone into defense about the same. Especially when her smoking habit is discussed. The golfer is often seen with a cigarette when not in the greens and her fans have been quite vocal about not approving her habit.

Breaking the parasocial barrier once again, Hull started another conversation about her routine recently in a story on her Instagram. This time, it was about a number of topics, including probably her worst habit, smoking. The LPGA Tour star replied to 4 of the most frequent comments she receives on her posts and stories.

The last issue she focused on was her smoking habit. Replying to fans saying, “you smoke”; the fashionista said, “yeah (I) do. It’s the only bad thing I do!” Acknowledging her habit, Hull further added, “I eat super clean. I never drink alcohol. Pribs 2/3 times a year max. I got all my drinking out the way when I was 18/19 (good times)”. This shows that Charley Hull maintains quite a healthy lifestyle despite her smoking habit.

After looking at her amazing but grueling body transformation routine, it’s fair to say she doesn’t let her vices rule her. At least she has more control over her habits than most. The first issue Charley Hull tackled was “people r asking why I run so much and why I don’t do golf specific training”. To this, she replied, “Golf training is boring. I have no interest in that at all. But the training and weights I do help my golf”. This suggests that her tedious routine is helping her perform better in golf. Considering that she has already broken her 2-year losing streak in the Ladies European Tour recently, it’s fair to say that Hull is definitely playing much better.

Explaining her habit of running, the English golfer said, “I love running as a hobby and for my fitness and my mind. The more fitter you are, the less jet lag you have 💯”. While not everyone may travel that often, it certainly seems like Charley Hull is speaking from experience.

The third point that her fans had questioned was, “you’ll get injured”. To this, Hull replied, “No, because I do all my recovery. Ice bath, compression, boots (boost) physio, & massage”. She also goes on to say that she hates acting like a slob and prefers a fast-paced life. Hull also mentioned that she aims at getting “10-11 hours a night of sleep,” which she believes is vital to her routine.
