Despite the injuries that left a massive impact on his abilities, Woods does not shy away from picking up his golf clubs and practising his winning shots, and giving advice on how to execute them.
Tiger Woods gives advice on taking an effective Bunker Shot

Bunker shots are specialized shots that test the golfer’s potential on the sand. Normally, the par course is well maintained with trimmed grass. However, there are certain designated areas that are carved out and prepared unevenly. These regions test a player’s skills and mettle. Taking a bunker shot can be especially unnerving for beginners.
While playing a casual game with Scottie Scheffler, Tiger Woods dropped some premium knowledge about his technique. TaylorMade Golf shared a tweet where the epic golfer discusses his intention and execution in the bunker.

According to Woods, most professional golfers take ‘Hook shots’ in the bunker to bypass the obstacles. And although he likes to practice Hook shots, Tiger is more favorable towards Cut shots. The effectiveness of each depends on the technique on which he elaborates.
“I’m trying to release it. I’m trying to feel like I’m hitting a hook. But it is never hook,” he shares with Scheffler. “Mine is towards the heel. I drop my hands low. I always feel hook even though I do cut it.”

His technique is well-suited not only for his current situation but also for other players experiencing mobility issues while taking Bunker shots. In order to Hook a shot around the obstacle, players need a certain amount of release that may not always work in their favor. Therefore, following Woods’ advice on alternating a Cut shot where the release can be controlled, may just work out.
Woods’ past shots vs. his present predicament
Ever since the car accident in 2021 when he injured himself, Woods has experienced mobility issues which are pivotal for Bunker shots. The practice of looser, more flexible knees, and bending the legs, are all too much for him to endure. However, in the past, Woods has delivered some remarkable Bunker shots that astounded the golf community.

During the 2018 World Golf Championship in Mexico, Woods took a Bunker shot that left viewers with their jaws dropped. The shot flew 30 yards from the Bunker. His technique for the hook shot was impeccable and quite the learning tutorial for aspiring golfers.
