Fans expected a thrilling performance, but what they actually witnessed exceeded their hopes and expectations. The fourth LIV Golf event was a big success and came to an exciting conclusion. Over the weekend, LIV Golf Adelaide offered some of the best plays in addition to a boisterous audience.

LIV Golf is now in Singapore, in preparation for its forthcoming competition this week. After the enormous success at Adelaide, fans are anxiously anticipating this one. In the middle of all the hype LIV golfer Phil Mickelson, offers his opinion on this trip to Singapore and his admiration for one of the country’s most eminent leaders.

At the 2023 Masters, the three-time Green Jacket champion had an outstanding performance. He had a tremendous comeback in the last round and tied for second place. The 52-year-old, however, was unable to maintain his outstanding performance, finishing 11th in the just-completed Adelaide competition. But as the $25 million event approaches, Mickelson has made headlines. The LIV star gave his opinions on Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s first Prime Minister.

According to ASAP Text, the American professional golfer was asked in an interview about his admiration for, his connection to and his interest in the work done by Lee Kuan Yew. While answering to this question, Mickelson said, “He said something when he was asked in an interview what the greatest invention in the 20th century was. He said air-conditioning because it made all of Asia a real force in the workforce, and I thought that was fascinating that of all the things that have been invented. Air-conditioning was the most impactful.”

The one-time Open Championship winner added, “Then I look at some of the policies implemented where he required many of the — every worker to put 10 percent in their retirement account. Where you have to own and operate your own company for 10 years before getting into politics. Then you look at how well run Singapore is, and it’s these little things that he had the foresight to implement. And then he started a country that had no natural resources, and he makes it one of the largest import/export docks in the world. I just thought his vision and his ability to implement his vision is just remarkable. I think he’s one of the greatest leaders in history.”

Mickelson left the PGA Tour for Saudi-funded LIV Golf last spring. The 52-year-old has subsequently received disrespect for his decision, though. After Mickelson’s PGA Championship victory in 2021, there has been a startling two-year decline. However, few people anticipated seeing Phil Mickelson in his prime at the 2023 Masters.

However, Lefty shot a spectacular 65 in the last round at Augusta National. It propelled him to second place beyond all odds. He had his greatest Sunday at the Masters ever on that particular day. Mickelson had the greatest final round of anyone in the competition, recording eight birdies to just one bogey. The artistic display resembled a vintage version of the player, who has won three Green Jackets in the past. Its safe to say that Mickelson is in top form and hopes to display the same in the upcoming LIV event at Singapore.
