Playing in Pro-Am’s is a special feeling for every professional. Furthermore, playing with notable names and celebrities adds up to the excitement of the pre-tournament event. Tiger Woods’ former caddie recently revealed when the 15-time major championship winner played a Pro-Am with a famous singer.

Woods and Steve Williams shared an outstanding caddie and professional relationship. Williams saw the highs and lows of the World Golf Hall of Fame member’s career. The duo was together from 1999 till they parted ways in 2011. Furthermore, Woods achieved greater heights with Steve on his bag, and Woods won 13 major championship events during his former caddie’s tenure.
In the latest episode of the podcast Chasing Majors, Williams revealed one of the best memories of his career. He told the instance when the 82-time PGA Tour winner played in a Pro-Am with the rock legend Bob Seger, a famous American musician and songwriter, and all the fun Williams had.

Steve said, “Well, we played with Bob Seger in the Pro-Am right. Absolutely. He’s from a nearby town to Flint, absolute legend in Michigan. Tiger played with them in a Pro-Am absolute character tee-off at 6:30 in the morning, he’s sweating up a storm…But anyway, the 16 hole was a par five at this, Warwick Hill Golf Course. And along to the left-hand side of the 16th hole, there’s a number of new houses under construction.”
He added, “As we all walked up to the 16th cold, all of a sudden, all these construction workers come out to the front of the property that the backed onto the golf course and that and they had all these boom boxes synced up and they were playing a Bob Seger song and he started dancing down the fairway. It was one of the best memories I’ve ever had.” He concludes by sharing the song they were playing, the famous song of Seger’s, ‘Night Moves.’
Williams proved the amount of fun he and Woods had at the Buick Open Pro-Am. At the same time, it also demonstrates how funny a person Bob Seger is and how he is full of life. This story probably has to be one of the most incredible Woods stories ever.

Tiger Woods’ dominating win at the 2006 Buick Open
Tiger won his 50th Tour event at the 2006 Buick Open. The 46-year-old professional won the event with an overall score of 24-under-par. As a result, he won the event with a comfortable three-shot advantage. Woods carded a fourth consecutive round of six-under-par, 66 in the final round at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. His final round of six-under-par included four birdies on the opening nine holes of his round on Sunday. Thus, the golf legend moved out in bogey-free four-under-par, 32. He made three birdies and a single bogey on the back nine to finish on the top of the leaderboard.
Jim Furyk finished as the runner-up to the former World Number One. He ended the Buick Open with an overall score of 21-under-par. Jim had to settle for a solo second position finish on the star-studded leaderboard. Moreover, he carded a final round of eight-under-par, 64 to finish just three shots off the lead. Furyk’s final round of 64 included three birdies and no bogeys on the front nine at the golf course on Sunday. As a result, he moved out in three-under-par, 33. Jim made an incredible five birdies on the back nine to wrap up his bogey-free final round at the event.
