Adam Scott is an Australian golfer who most commonly competes at the PGA Tour of Australasia. He currently leads the ongoing Australian Open before heading to the final round. However, before the commencement of the event, Scott’s love for the Masters’ theme song was uncovered.
The ringtone of Adam Scott that everyone’s talking about
Before the start of the Australian Open, Scott held a press conference, answering questions from the media. During the Q&A session, the Australian’s phone began ringing. As everyone began to hear the music much more closely, they happen to realize it was the Masters theme song.
Adam Scott won the Green jacket back in 2013. After remaining tied till the end of the final round, Scott claimed the Masters victory after defeating the Argentinian, Ángel Cabrera, in a sudden-death playoff. Though the win occurred nearly a decade ago, the former World number one still reminisces about the triumph through his ringtone.
Golf Digest reporter Evan Priest who was in attendance for Scott’s press conference tweeted about the incident. The Australian golfer shared the tweet on his Instagram bio with the caption, “A ringtone unlike any other”. Undoubtedly, the Masters theme song is utterly a masterpiece.

The lovely, sweet tune that uplifts the spirit was created by singer-songwriter, Kenny Loggins. Named after the golf course, the song too is titled ‘Augusta’. Moreover, many consider it the unofficial theme song of Spring for its soulful vibe. One can’t blame Scott for his preference for the ringtone.
As the 2013 Masters winner looks to maintain the lead at the Australian Open, he may have more reasons to be happy. Scott is yet to win a tournament in 2022, and claiming it at the Victoria Golf Club will end his winless drought.
