It seems Rickie Fowler is back to acing his way through the golf world! Shortly after sharing some adorable moments with his daughter, Maya Fowler, where the 3-year-old stepped into the shoes of her father’s personal dentist, and gave him an adorable dental care, Fowler continues to spread his magic on the greens!

His feat at TPC River Highlands has been no short of a surprise. After struggling heavily in the last couple of years, the former Poster Boy’s unwavering optimism seems to have done the trick. In the final round of the Travelers Championship, the 35-year-old shot a near ace on the par-4 15th hole, the course’s most exciting hole. This is spread over a beautiful 296-yard stretch and challenges golfers to demonstrate their best game, and Fowler seems to be standing true to this test.

Even though a win seems unlikely for Fowler on this PGA Tour event with a $20 million prize purse, he still almost managed to make history. Between Fowler and his nearly-missed rare historical feat was just 10 inches exactly. If only his three-wood could manage to bridge this 10-inch gap, he would have become the second player in Tour history to make a hole-in-one on a par 4.

While Fowler could not manage to win or make a hole-in-one at TPC River Highlands, the way he has come so close has left the fans enthralled. Despite the fact a win might not be on the charts for this PGA Tour pro this weekend, the upward stride he has made has surely made an impact in the golf world. Adding to this air of praise, another impressed fan complimented Fowler saying, “Brilliant.”

A concerned fan wrote, “Do you think he can keep up this level of play for the rest of the round?” They were seemingly perplexed at the durability of his improved performance. After all, the last few months (or maybe even years) have not been in Fowler’s favor. The air of his full-fledged comeback at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last year seems to have toned down this year, but his feat at the Travelers Championship has given fans much-needed hope

There seemed to be a clear consensus among fans that they are thrilled to see their favorite Poster Boy back in form.
