These bottles will definitely help athletes from around the world stay hydrated in style! What are the conditions at the Olympic Village?

The main problem at the Olympic Village is the lack of air conditioning. The Olympic Village in Paris has turned into a scorching hot zone, leaving athletes feeling drained and worried about their performance. This is understandable because the shortage of air conditioning is taking a toll on their bodies and minds. Athletes struggle to get a good night’s sleep, and some have come forward with their concerns. 

The Australian representative for the swimming competition, Ariarne Titmus, said, “It probably wasn’t the time I thought I was capable of, but living in the Olympic Village makes it hard to perform,” per Metro. Even with 2,500 temporary cooling units installed, the heat remains a major concern. “There’s multiple factors that make village life far from ideal,’ said former Olympic swimmer James Magnussen.

He even said on Matty & The Missile podcast that many athletes would miss out on the medal because of the unsettling conditions at the Olympic Village. He shared that Australia swimming team got their portable air conditioners to feel better, and battle the heat.

The skyrocketing temperatures are not allowing the players to focus on their training. The latest temperature recorded at the Olympic Village is 16 degrees, according to AccuWeather.
