Bonjour Paris! The golf tournament in France is set to kick off with a bang! After the majors, the wait for the Paris Olympics was palpable, and now it’s actually happening! The tee timings for the first round at Le Golf National were announced today. And with the big game starting in just a few hours, it is time for every fan to know when their favorite players are teeing off in their race to win gold.
The tournament will officially begin at 9:00 a.m. as per Paris time, and 3:00 a.m. for American fans. with France’s Victor Perez hitting the opening tee shot alongside Germany’s Matti Schmid and C.T. Pan of Chinese Taipei. With such an epic start to the grand competition, the whole thing will be undeniably thrilling! Another notable pairing is, Xander Schauffele, fresh from his second major win this season at The Open Championship, joining forces with Ryder Cup stars Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm at 5:55 a.m. EST.

The pairing at 4:11 a.m. ET is going to see some major action at the Le Golf National, because Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Ludvig Åberg will form a powerhouse trio. The amazing pairing features three of the top-four ranked players in the world, so one can only imagine how amazing the game would be. The world’s No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has six victories under his belt, just this season, and is now making his debut at the ultimate patriotic showdown. And who knows the amazing golfer might engrave his name in the history books yet again!
Rory McIlroy is ranked the world’s No. 3 and has performed before at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However, fate was not in the golfer’s favor and he narrowly lost the bronze medal at the last Olympics in a tight competition with six other players. He said, “I never tried so hard to come in third place”, according to US News.

And last but not least, Ludvig Aberg. The golfer is ranked 4th in the whole world and is making his debut at the Paris Olympics after a winless 2024 season so far. The Swede won the RSM Classic in 2023 on his PGA Tour debut and finished beautifully as a runner-up on his Masters debut.
