In her latest X post, Spiranac made such an argument. She announced, “Simone Biles just became the most decorated gymnast in history! She deserves so much credit for what she’s been through plus all the online abuse she has faced. Simone is the GOAT.”

In 2021, Simone Biles took a step back from the Tokyo Olympics because of mental health issues. This has raised many controversies regarding the athlete. Following this, when Jason S. Campbell called out Simone Biles as a “selfish s******th” and a “shame to the country,” Spiranac could not keep silent. She reminded him that it was Biles who won the US over 35 medals in her career. Paige Spiranac commented on all the abuse that Biles faced while being in USA Gymnastics. The retired golfer further announced, “Mental health should never be mocked.”

In another X post by Spiranac, only days before Biles’ second Olympic gold, she said that Biles did not quit her team. She also wrote, “She is competing the most difficult skills in the world. It isn’t like a layup or swinging a golf club. What she’s doing is extremely dangerous and she did what she needed to do to protect herself. She is the GOAT.”

Not long ago she shot fires at the current team that is representing the nation at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In a YouTube video, which is now deleted, MyKayla Skinner reportedly said, “Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be.” But after winning the gold this time, Simone Biles, along with all her teammates wrote on her Instagram, “Lack of talent, lazy, Olympic Champions.”

This was not the only criticism that Simone Biles defended herself from. She was even criticized for her hair recently. Yes, nothing but just how her hair looked following a bus ride! But Biles replied to that on her own accord. She defended herself by stating, “IT WAS DONE but the bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,0000 degrees. Oh & a 45 min ride.”
