Golf is a gentleman’s game. However, not everyone who plays the sport or watches the game, necessarily has to be one. Recently, the hosts of a podcast asked their listeners to share their crazy stories related to the sport, and needless to say, one of them made the hosts speechless.
The veteran LPGA Tour player, Michelle Wie West, and her lifetime friend and content creator, Hally Leadbetter, host the ‘Golf, Mostly’ podcast. And the hosts often share funny, crazy, or interesting stories they have experienced or their listeners did through the podcasts.

The crazy story that made Michelle Wie West intrigued
Recently, one of their listeners sent a DM to West to share one of the craziest incidents that they have had related to golf. And it would be an understatement to say the veteran LPGA Tour player and her best friend were shocked after reading it.
“Okay, so the next one… I actually did a follow-up on DM,” West said as a disclaimer before reading out the message the podcast follower sent them. “Because this was a juicy enough story where I needed to find out,” she added.

“Found two people h**king up on a dirt floor in the cart shed,” the 5-time LPGA Tour champion read from her DMs. “While their spouses were in the clubhouse.”
When she finally finished reading the story, neither the golfer nor Hally Leadbetter had any words to say other than the content creator exclaiming, “oh, my god!” in a shrieky voice.

Interestingly, it is not the first time the golf world had witnessed or experienced similar instances. Sometimes, it even affects the professionals during an official tournament.

An orangutan riding a cart, alligators taking a stroll on the course, turkeys chasing players on the course… All these unusual incidents would seem ordinary once we listen to every anecdote the professional players have seen.
After winning the 1995 Open Championship, John Daly just wanted to have a memorable picture of him from the event. However, what pops up first if we search for it is a photo of him and his wife photo-bombed by the infamous streaker running in the St. Andrews course, with “19th hole” written on his back.
Moreover, the 6-time major champion, Phil Mickelson had once found human feces at the 6th hole at the Memorial Tournament!
