Is Phil Mickelson trying to intimidate his famous opponent?
Phil Mickelson is known for his skill at the game of golf, we know that. What we also know is that he has a personality where he values creativity and persists in his actions for self-expression. His love for self-expression is a great inspiration force in the world, uplifting others, and bringing much success and happiness to him.
The pro golfer is currently playing at the LIV Golf Team Championship. During the Captains’ Selection Press Conference, Mickelson was asked a steamy question.
To be precise, the moderator asked Mickelson whether he is going to be wearing shorts this week to intimidate Cameron with his calves.
Phil replied, “Well, there’s no intimidating. He’s Champion Golfer of the Year. He’s got the Claret Jug. I think he was sipping out of it last night. I mean, that’s a strong flex. Nothing that a calf can do to top that. He’s got the Claret Jug. That’s the coolest moment, to have that trophy for a year is really special. I think that it’s a great opportunity for me to be able to try to compete against the Champion Golfer of the Year. I look forward to it. It’ll be fun.”
As a matter of fact, even at 52 years old, Mickelson remains a fitness icon. This has probably helped him win championships against people almost half his age. He is very widely known for his monstrous calves. This is probably why the moderator was so interested in knowing Mickelson’s intentions.

Phil said, “I was scared to go on social media because, first of all, I have a very addictive personality. So, I can go overboard and not keep it in balance. When I first started, I had help and it was frustrating for me. So I just have taken it over myself and I try to keep it in balance. Every now and then, I’ll get a text from some guys on my team like ‘Hey, what are you doing, man? Take that down’ and I’m okay with that. I try to keep everything as positive as I can.”
