Charley Hull is sticking to her promise. The LPGA Tour star was receiving constant criticism for her smoking addiction. Time and again, she had to tell her fans that she maintains an otherwise healthy lifestyle and that lighting up a stick is her only bad habit. Fans have seen her consistently work hard to stay in shape.
In fact, Hull’s workout regime is extreme enough to cause concern among her followers. It involves stepping away from traditional golf routines to emphasize overall athleticism. “I don’t want to just be a golfer. I want to be an athlete,” she has clarified. One of her posts also received a lot of anxious comments including one of the fans requesting her; “don’t injure yourself”.
But just like her smoking habit, Hull hasn’t backed off from working on herself. She has even set a goal for herself to complete a 5k or 3.1-mile run within 20 minutes. And just a few hours ago, the English golfer challenged herself again. This time, she has put her addiction on the line. In fact, she has actually pushed it out of the picture as she has committed to not touching a stick. In her Instagram story, Hull shook hands with DP World Tour pro, Ryan Evans over a bet worth £10k or approximately $12,972 that she won’t smoke for two months.

Hours after the this, the LPGA Tour pro dropped another story sharing the specifics of her challenge. With a picture of herself in the background, the caption read “Btw I’m not starting to vape either! I have snuss but that’s it!” This confirms that she is not going to replace the cigarettes with a vape. However, Hull has also confessed that she is not going to stop having pouched tobacco during this period. At this point, anything is a win for her loyal fans as they had been pestering her about her smoking for a very long time.

Charley Hull enjoying her time away from the LPGA Tour
Charley Hull‘s dedication to her fitness can never be questioned. She is undoubtedly one of the most athletic players on the LPGA Tour. But the fashionista has caught a little break from professional golf right now. Having not played in the last LPGA Tour event, the Blue Bay LPGA, Hull got a month’s break from the job. And with the next Tour event still about 10 days away, she decided to unwind and enjoy herself a bit.
Hours before Hull took up the no-smoking bet, she had shared another story confessing doing something she hadn’t done in 4 months. The 2x LPGA Tour winner stated that she enjoyed a few drinks after a long time. But that was not the goal of the post. After catching a night’s rest, she was back on the track hitting a 7k or 4.4 miles to wear off the hangover. This just goes to show her dedication to fitness. What do you think?
