Golf has been a game changer for Paige Spiranac’s life, and she’s now super passionate about sharing her love for the sport with others. As a former pro golfer turned social media star, Spiranac always seems to be cooking up something fresh and exciting to help new golfers and entertain her fans. Whether she’s dishing out tips, sharing her own golf adventures, or teaming up with other golf enthusiasts, Spiranac’s energy and enthusiasm are infectious. So, as usual, Spiranac has brought something similar and amazing, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store.

So, as we all know golf is called a gentlemen game’s and well, for a reason. There are many unspoken etiquette rules in the tough world of golf and when they are not followed hell can break loose. In the modern era of the game, many young golfers are having a hard time adjusting to the more established players because of these unspoken rules so, what are they? Well, this is exactly where Spiranac comes into the picture!

In her latest Instagram post, Spiranac shared some super helpful tips on the unspoken rules of golf. “It’s time to look like an expert golfer, and I’m here to help you!” she said. Spiranac emphasized the importance of respecting the game’s etiquette, especially at nicer golf courses. “At nicer golf courses it is a full part to change into your golf shoes in the parking lot so make sure you come ready to play golf or you bring your shoes to the locker room to change,” she explained. She also dished out advice on the double par rule and explained the concept of “honors” in a way that’s easy to understand. “Some people are sticklers for this, but it can slow down the game, so just ask on the first hole, ‘Do you want to play honors or ready golf?'”

Spiranac shared even more valuable tips on proper etiquette, like standing in front of your playing partner on the tee box and never standing in their line of sight on the putting green. “On the tee bags, it is proper etiquette to stand in front of your playing partner never down the line or behind them. The same rules follow on the putting greens and never stand in their line of sight so you can read their putt. Frowned upon. And also don’t walk in their through line which means that if they miss the putt they’ll have to putt back through your spike marks, so always make sure you’re not trembling around the golf ball” she cautioned with a smile.

Spiranac wrapped up by encouraging golfers to ask questions and seek guidance without feeling intimidated. “And remember it is okay to ask questions, it is not okay to be a jerk to new golfers.” By sharing her expertise and promoting a supportive environment, Spiranac is surely trying to make golf more accessible and fun for everyone.

Paige Spiranac tips to improve your golf game

The pro-golfer-turned-influencer, shared a valuable tip with her followers last year on how to become a better golfer. In a short video, Spiranac emphasized the importance of “practicing with a purpose.” “One tip on how to become a better golfer… Practice with a purpose! Most golfers practice by firing through range balls with no purpose. Finding creative ways to give each shot meaning is the secret to getting better” she explained. Spiranac noted that this approach isn’t the most effective way to improve, and instead recommended finding creative ways to give each shot meaning.

Spiranac shared her own example of how she was struggling with long irons at the time and was practicing drills to improve. “For example, I keep my stats for each round and then work on areas where I’m struggling. Right now, it’s long irons. After my drills and technique work, I’ll find a target out on the range for my 5 iron then go through my entire pre-shot routine and keep track of how many would have landed on the green. I’ll continue to do that until I start seeing the improvements I want on the course,” she said. By tracking her progress, setting specific goals, and working on her technique until she saw improvements, Spiranac believed that golfers could accelerate their progress and become better players.
