It is pretty natural to have a rivalry in any sporting venture. As far as golf is concerned, the concept of hostility is nothing new. One of the most talked-about examples of rivalry dates back to when Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson played together. The bitter-sweet relationship between the duo captured the attention of many.
The list doesn’t just end here. The LIV defector, Sergio Garcia, was one of the prominent critics as well. But despite hearing their harsh comments, Woods always remained unmoved. Until an 11-year-old kid recently shut down the fifteen-time champion with a single statement.

Mickelson and Woods are the long-time rivals of the golf world. Mostly, the duo is famous for their banter. And, whenever Phil tried to trash talk Tiger, the latter always had a ‘trump card,’ that is his career record.
Another LIV compatriot, Garcia, was one of Woods’ attackers. The duo’s loathing started fourteen years ago, from a knockdown to a potential feud between the two when one was a golf star and the other was a rookie. The envy turned nasty as one grew up to be the best, and another couldn’t match his records.
But neither Phil nor Sergio could shut Tiger down until now because of his lengthy narrative of trophies and accolades. Recently, a child did what the adults couldn’t.
