Being a social media influencer is undoubtedly a hard job. But being a female influencer on top of that is certainly even more difficult, as they are constantly victims of sexist remarks and comments. The same has been the case for Paige Spiranac, who has had to endure multiple instances where people commented on her body or took a jab at her using her choice of content.

And the pattern still continued as one of her followers criticized her for her body when the golfing queen took to Instagram Stories not too long ago. But this time, although the comment was not as extreme as in some cases, she went ahead to reveal some startling facts that left the community surprised.

As Spiranac came into the limelight, she had to deal with problems related to body issues, trolling, and self-image-related concerns, which usually stemmed from her followers. And in a Q&A session that the golf mommy held on her Instagram handle, she described a dark time while responding to such a comment made on her body.

A follower of her social media handle went ahead to remark, “Ur not fit,” as they went ahead to comment about her physique instead of asking the influencer a question during her session. Paige responded by pointing out how a lot of people have been talking about her weight for the last year and a half and how it has gotten worse of late. She went ahead to say, “It was a time of my life where, yes, I was younger, but I was also very depressed,” as the diva mentioned how they are comparing her to her past self.

While responding to the parallel that was drawn, Spiranac opened up about how she had a difficult relationship with food and was malnourished in the past. The social media star continued as she said, “I was not in a good place,” all the while indicating that it was a time when the ex-pro golfer did not like the person that she was. The female golfer ended her response by revealing how happy and healthy she currently is while expressing her love for her body.

Although the remark made by the follower was not as extreme as they come, it was a comment on her body nonetheless. Her bold and sizzling content on the game of golf has led to her being the focus of some not-so-noble people who called her out for using all the tools at her disposal to gain popularity.

The social media star has faced this in the past as well. In fact, just a couple of months ago, she went through something somewhat similar with an ex-president’s favorite author!

Earlier this year, in January, the model was in the spotlight for an argument that she had with Nick Adams. The Trump supporter went ahead to upload a tweet on his social media handle mentioning how a separate par-3 course should be set aside for female golfers so that the championships can be finished faster. The sexist remark was countered by Spiranac, who responded that she could outdrive him all day long.

Meanwhile, Adams, who calls himself an Alpha Male on Twitter, pointed out how she is not famous for her swing but for her pictures and bold golf content. Spiranac did not take it easy as she clapped back by saying that he can’t hit more than 220 even if he drives from the tips, all the while thinking he has a shot with the cart girl.
