Justin Thomas has had a hectic couple of weeks. He missed the cut at the Masters earlier this month, following which he had a T25 finish at the 2023 RBC Heritage. Now, Thomas is back home hosting the Justin Thomas Junior Championship. The event is currently in its eighth edition and is a part of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). Every year, the golfing tournament brings together some of the best 18-and-under players from all over the country.
Meanwhile, AJGA’s official Instagram page shared a fun update about the golfer, which will surprise many golf fans. It appears that the 2-time major champion isn’t done growing up yet!

A Louisville native, Thomas has grown up playing on the AJGA, making the ongoing tournament very special to the golfer. He grew up in a family of athletes, with both his father and grandfather having played college basketball. Thomas went pro in 2012 at age 20 and has already garnered several accolades in his career so far.
Moreover, fans will be surprised to learn the 29-year-golfer is not done growing. Thomas, who is currently busy with his hosting role, took a height test with @ajgagolf sharing the clip. Before taking the test, the 15-time PGA Tour winner seemed visibly nervous. “I am a little nervous that I have shrunk,” expressed Thomas.

However, it turns out that the 29-year-old has grown taller in the past 2 years. He was stunned by the result himself, hilariously quipping, “Not done growing yet!” While most boys reach their peak height at age 16, Healthline reveals that men may continue developing well into their twenties. Per the Healthline website, men tend to achieve peak mass somewhere between the age of 20 and 30.
Thomas recently took off on a spring break trip with his fellow golfing compatriots, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler. The trip came after the golfer had a T25 finish at Hilton Head last week, tying with Denny McCarthy, Justin Rose, and Jimmy Walker.

Thomas missed the cut at the Augusta National earlier this month, which surprised many. The golfer intended to turn things around at the Hilton Head during the 2023 RBC Heritage. However, the golfer could only manage a T25 finish, walking away with $160,500 in earnings.
As a result of his disappointing run in recent events, he has also lost his place in OWGR Top 10. The former world no. 1 is currently ranked no. 14 in the Official World Golf Rankings. He is now back home in Louisville, hosting the Justin Thomas Junior Championship.
