Kevin Kisner might not have gotten the win for Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links GC, but he stole the show anyway. And how could he not? On the par-3 14th, he had ‘the moment’ of the night. Kisner stepped into the bunker, lined up his shot, made the swing, and bam! His ball smacked the flagstick and ricocheted off in the most comical way possible. If you’re wondering whether Kisner was fazed, the answer is a big, bold “NO.”

And now, Kisner is heading into his next match against Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf team, and you just know the guy is going to draw a crowd. Whether it’s for his play or his antics, Kisner knows how to keep it entertaining. Speaking of entertainment, here’s something that recently made waves on Instagram. A screenshot from what looks like an anonymous chat revealed a very ‘Kisner-esque’ story.

Apparently, during a round at the legendary Winged Foot Golf Club, the guy threw back 17 beers over 18 holes and still managed to bring his A-game. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, Kisner arrived at the 240-yard par-3 17th hole (yes, the one with the turtle-shell green), stuck his tee shot close, drained the birdie putt, and yelled to the crowd:

After listening to this story, it’s fair to say golf runs through Kisner’s veins. Sure, he missed the cut at The American Express and made a fool out of himself at the TGL, but don’t get confused. This four-time PGA Tour winner hasn’t forgotten how to work his magic. He’s one of golf’s most unapologetically fun, raw, and talented personalities. Whether he’s cracking jokes, making clutch shots, or accidentally stealing the spotlight with a bunker blunder, Kisner keeps the game interesting. And this energy is also seen in his relationship with fellow golfers.

Kevin Kisner throws a playful jab at Max Homa

Max Homa came into the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open hoping for a repeat of his 2023 win at the same event. Back then, he finished with a solid 13-under-par 275. But things didn’t exactly go as planned this time around.

It all started on the very first hole of the South Course. While he made a solid tee shot, but then his game took a turn he wasn’t expecting. His approach shot landed in the left greenside bunker. No big deal, right? Just get up and down. Except his next shot ended up in the right greenside bunker. And then… well, let’s just say the sand wasn’t letting him go without a fight.

Homa took a few more swings to escape, finally reached the green, and two-putted to walk away with a painful triple-bogey 7. And just when it seemed like he might recover, the bunkers came back to haunt him on the fourth hole. By the time he finished the front nine, he was sitting at 5-over and probably wishing he could hit the reset button on his round.

Enter Kevin Kisner, who couldn’t help but poke some fun at his fellow TGL competitor. Kisner joked that Homa might have been “putting his TGL experience to good use” with all those bunker shots. That’s Kevin Kisner for you always quick with humor.

So, as he heads into the next match, the big question is: how will he pull the crowd this time? If history tells us anything, it’s that Kisner will find a way to leave us laughing, cheering, or both. One thing’s for sure—whatever happens, it won’t be boring.
