It is safe to say that the year 2024 will bring merry changes to the golf world. With the LPGA Tour, PGA Tour, and DPWT upping their prizes, there is now a new Tour that has added its name to the list. Surprisingly, the Tour we are talking about is none other than the European Senior Tour, popularly known as the Legends Tour.
The aforementioned Tour has not only exceeded expectations by unveiling its biggest prize pool to date, but it has also incorporated “some truly spectacular venues around the world” in its long schedule.

In their drive to get better year on year, the Legends Tour’s new schedule for 2024 is enough to leave your jaw-dropping. The prize pool of $19,391,112 marks the Tour’s largest wallet so far. Approximately, a little over 10 million dollars from this number is designated to be assigned outside of the Major events. The now-expanded global venues will consist of 20 events in total. These are set to span from April to December.
The amateurs can tee it up alongside their favorite pros under the ‘Legends Experience’, the one-of-a-kind Pro-AM experience available on the Tour. The Pro-Am events this year will witness not only some great senior golf personalities but also a fair share of famous entertainers from around the world teeing it up on the greens in hopes of raising money for charities of their choice.
In the words of the CEO of the Legends Tour, Phil Harrison, “We have been working hard behind the scenes, and 2024 promises to be another incredible year for the Legends Tour. We are thrilled with the additions to the schedule for this season, as well as the prestigious venues we are honored to return to… We cannot wait to see it all unfold.”
