According to reports by Golf Monthly“Woods has been with Nike since 1996, where he signed a huge $40m deal over five years, which was renewed for a reported $100m over a further five years.”

Nike has shown new Tiger apparel, including the belt’s first significant makeover in years. It was the first of several items planned for the TW line. However, they remained firm on the deal, even after Nike stopped their golf equipment production in 2016.

However, on the other side, Nike has earned big profits too. They received excellent brand exposure for over 20 years because of the partnership. According to the reports by Apex Marketing, Nike’s brand value was estimated to be $22,540,000 in 2019. The reason behind the popularity was Woods’ on-camera appearance during the Masters final round telecast on CBS. The viewers could see Tiger’s hat, shirt, pants, and shoes.
