Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods: Do they share the same unbreakable mindset in the face of adversity?

Donald Trump has been closely knitted to the golf community. Be it his friendship with LIV star Bryson DeChambeau or the legend Tiger Woods. So much so that the 48-year-old pro golfer had lost his sleep thinking about it. Mr. T has played one too many golf matches with the former POTUS and to think about him being assassinated was a rather horrifying thought.

Since he was headed for the fourth major during the news, he could not even perform well, thinking about the incident. During the presser of the Open Championship, Woods said, “I didn’t accomplish a lot because I wasn’t in the right frame of mind.”  Cut to more than a month before the incident, it is not just Woods who lost his sleep, Trump himself is still traumatized by what happened in Pennsylvania.

Nick Faldo and Donald Trump have been friends for over 20 years and have not just shared their love for golf, but are also working together for Trump to win his second term at the White House against Biden. He admires the 58 YO and the respect is mutual. “If you know him, he’s a kind, caring guy,” Faldo told the City A.M. This was a reason as to why Trump often called him up to congratulate him on his golf matches.

Even Faldo, after listening to what had happened was left worried about his old friend Trump. That was why when he recently got a call from Trump after his event in Maryland, he gave a shoutout and also asked him about his whereabouts, Faldo was more keen on knowing if he was doing alright after what had happened. To this Trump replied that he still thinks about what had happened all the time, and is traumatized by the memory.

Well, it’s no surprise that the attempt on his life left Trump traumatized since it even left another innocent victim killed. A few nights after the incident took place, the former POTUS also revealed that he was lucky to be alive and breathing after what happened.

Donald Trump thanks ‘almighty for being there by his side’

Donald Trump opened his presidential nomination speech with a recollection of what happened at the rally that left him injured. When he said he was not supposed to be there that night, the crowd cheered him up and said, “Yes, you are.” He was overwhelmed and said, “I thank you, but I’m not, and I’ll tell you, I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God.”

Have an interesting take?

He described the beginning of the fateful day to be a ‘warm and beautiful’ one in the early evening in Butler township. He has been asked about what happened several times, but for him, it is very difficult to go through it over and over again. And so for one last time, he described what happened. As he went on the stage, he turned to see the chart, and as he started turning to his right, he was ready to begin a bit further.

But he heard a loud whizzing sound right then and felt something hit him hard on his right ear. His hands were filled with blood as he checked and it was then that he realized that he was shot. He even revealed that had he not moved his head at the last moment the bullet would have caught him, the shot was aimed perfectly and would have indeed caused his last breath that day. Generally, during these types of events, there are multiple shots fired, because usually the crowd is so scared that it starts rushing here and there. Instead of multiple shots, there was only one shot made, and that was thanks to the crowd. Everyone had been very brave and that was another reason as to how multiple lives were safe! For him, the people of America and God are the reasons he is in blood and flesh now!
