Nicolai Hojgaard joined the PGA Tour after turning professional in 2019. Despite having the opportunity to debut at the Open Championship at the tender age of seventeen, he missed the cut halfway through the tournament in 2018. To date, he has only managed to secure a Top-10 finish in three championships.

Ranked 47th on the OWGR list, the 23-year-old golfer from Denmark is still seeking his first victory. However, he is performing well at the 2024 Open Championship with a 2-under. What equipment has he been using to climb the ranks?

Nicolai Hojgaard wields the new Paradym Ai-Smoke Triple Diamond driver with a 10.5-degree loft. Its forgiving shape and adjustable parameters enable up to 19 yards of shot shape correction. This driver has helped Hojgaard achieve the 17th position in driving distance, averaging 309.9 yards. He pairs it with the MCA Tensei White 1K 70TX shaft (N/+1, 11.3, 45.5EOG, 2GF, 9GB, D2.5, Tipped 1).

For his 3-wood, Hojgaard chooses the Paradym Ai-Smoke TD HL with a 16.5-degree loft, paired with an MCA Tensei White 80TX shaft (15.3, 42.75EOG, D3, Tipped 1.5). This club delivers consistent distance and spin, providing faster ball speed compared to others and serving as an excellent alternative to a driver for tee shots.

Hojgaard also carries two 7-woods, both Paradym Ai-Smoke TD models. One has a loft angle of 20 degrees and the other 58.8 degrees. Both are fitted with Fujikura Ventura Red 8x shafts (41.5 EOG, D3, Tipped 2).

Equipped with Project X LZ 7.0 shafts (.5 Flat, Lofts 24.5, 28, 31.5, 35, 39, 43, 47), these clubs focus on meeting players’ unique demands by emphasizing improved sole designs for better course interaction.
