The Buccaneers-Seahawks game is set to take place on 13th November, at Allianz Arena which is the home stadium of Munich’s soccer team Bayern Munich. Though the NFL has taken several measures to promote the sport in England, the Germans are widely regarded as the biggest fanbase for American football in Europe.
Now, finally returning to Germany, the 7-time Super Bowl winner, Tom Brady, will compete for the very first time in the country. Legendary German golfer, Langer, send his best wishes and had a message for the Quarterback.
What message did Langer have for Tom Brady?
The German golfer is currently competing at the final event of the PGA Tour Champions season, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. However, he still managed to find time to send Brady a welcoming message to his nation.
"There's another old guy showing the young guys how to do it." 💪

The 65-year-old golfer shared how the NFL coming to Munich is great for German fans as they have only watched the sport on their TV screen until now. Langer then talked about Bayern Munich and their stadium, which also happens to be his favorite soccer team. “They’ve got the beautiful stadium in Munich where my team, Bayern Munich plays soccer”, he said.

When asked who he was supporting for the match-up in Germany, Langer replied, “I’m all for Tom Brady and the Buccaneers”. He then shared his love for the Florida-based teams since that’s where his home is in the United States. The two-time Major winner further pays respect to Tom Brady.

“Tom Brady’s been extremely impressive”, said Bernhard Langer.“And there’s another old guy, you know, showing the young guys how to do it”, referring to Brady still competing at the top level despite being 45 years old, while also directing the similarities in himself with the NFL star.
Langer became the oldest winner of a PGA Tour-sanctioned event after claiming the TimberTech Championship at the age of 65 earlier this month. Brady too had a record of his own, by becoming the oldest Super Bowl winner at the age of 43. Both men have defied age and are an example of age just being a number. As more legends grow older, how much more will they achieve in their evergreen career?
