The world of golf has seen several footballers in recent years display their golf skills in pro-am events. While it’s been mostly quarterbacks who’ve won hearts, the golf talent of Wide Receivers in the NFL has been a question. Miami Dolphins’ WR, Tyreek Hill, had some words to say about his golfing attributes on Twitter.

When it comes to sprinting a 40m dash, no one can surpass Hill. Dubbed the ‘Cheetah’, the 2020 Super Bowl winner is considered one of the fastest in the league. While he may have mastered his position in the sport, the Wide Receiver now has adopted golf as a hobby. However, his second favorite sport may not be as ambitious as he thought, as per his latest Tweet.

What did Tyreek Hill say about Golf?

Hill has been an avid golfer in recent years. Back in 2021, he posted a video titled, “MY FIRST TIME GOLFING”, where he swings the golf club for the very first time. While it’s been nearly two years since the vlog was uploaded, one may think that the former Kansas City Chiefs star must be quite comfortable with a club in his hand.

However, Tyreek Hill’s latest Tweet indicates the footballer still requires practice in the 18-hole sport. “I really suck at golf”, wrote the Wide Receiver. Though the words from the NFL star may seem a little down-putting, they can be relatable to anyone who’s had a bad day at golf. Perhaps, Hill too must have had one, which eventually led to him venting his thoughts out on Twitter.

While the ‘Cheetah’ claims he’s bad at golf, he has some mega endorsement deals within the sport. ‘Tyreek Hill TP5’ are golf balls created by notable golf equipment brand, TaylorMade, which created the balls as part of a partnership. The company is reportedly valued at around $2 Billion. The ‘TP5’ have a small embedded cartoon of Hill and costs $54.99 for one set.

As he further looks to spread his wings across golf, the 28-year-old will take all possible steps to better himself in the sport. Though his golf handicap is publicly unknown, with the charisma and talent he holds, it will exciting to see Tyreek Hill compete in future Pro-am golf events, and put his Tweet to test.
