Motherhood is already a huge responsibility. And being a professional golfer can make it a little difficult, especially when your child needs extra care. Something like this occurred in Park’s life as well. Her daughter Grace suffered from epilepsy, which is why as a mother Park had to step away from her career in order to take care of her daughter. But with the improvement in Grace’s health, Park can again return to her passion in calling, and thus playing at the Midland Country Golf Club this year.
Although she had a rough start in round 1 and a score of 5-over par, Jane still didn’t lose hope to strive her best for the title. Rather, this LPGA pro takes a light-hearted approach to her game and plans to play in a way that she can justify her passion for golf in any sense.

In an interview with the American professional golfer, Angela Stanford, when Park was asked about her feeling on being back to the field after two years of hiatus, she answered, “Disability can happen to anyone at any time in their lives and that’s just the innate nature of being human and yeah, I never thought I would be back out here again but with the love of the LPGA family and our friends…um, here we are, I’m playing golf again. And even if it’s my last time. I get to go out on my own terms ”.
Thus, Park sportingly reflected on disability as something that can normally happen to human life, and her approach towards the game only reflects her golfing zeal.
