Nelly Korda is on her path to resurgence after her hiatus and dip in form. And she has taken slow but effective steps toward her revival. 2023 has been the toughest year of her career but with the support of her fans, Korda has braved many difficulties.
Now the 25-year-old, who last performed at the Portland Classic tournament and did well, will next be seen in her patriotic act of performing at the Solheim Cup. And, in an interesting decision, she will be skipping this week’s LPGA tournament and fans support her decision.

This year Korda is among those selected players who will be representing Team US in the Solheim Cup in Spain. Nelly understands that it is a very important event and is taking her time to prepare well for it. With her latest Instagram post, the pro golfer declared she is gearing up for the Solheim Cup.
The Cup will be held in Andalucia, Spain from 22-24th September. But before that, the LPGA is hosting the Kroger Queen City Championship in Kenwood Country Club, Cincinnati, Ohio and the prize purse is $1.75 million. However, Korda has chosen to skip the event.
Korda herself announced her plans on Instagram where she posted a picture of herself from last week’s event and wrote: “It’s a never-ending learning experience when it comes to golf. Lucky to be able to do what I love and continue to grow from it 🙌🏻 Next up: @thesolheimcup in 🇪🇸 and then 🇰🇷&🇲🇾”

And fans are in support of this decision of hers as well. Extending their best wishes for the Cup, fans wrote positive comments on the post.

Last week Korda played well at the Portland Classic where she finished T14 with Lilia Vu, Georgia Hall, and Danielle Kang. All took home a prize of $21,739. And now fans can’t wait to see her win in Spain.
