In the world of golf, Nelly Korda, the radiant cover face of the LPGA, found herself facing a challenging chapter in 2023. A prolonged back injury cast a shadow over Korda’s journey, followed by a winless year-end that left her fans and the golfer herself yearning for victory. The 2023 leg of the tour ended for Korda without any wins to add to her illustrious career.

Irrespective of these losses, however, the golfer has now resurged with a special partner—who undoubtedly has her back. Korda is preparing a nice Christmas present for herself, her fans, and the world of golf, so all eyes are angled at her moves.

Nelly Korda will be a part of the fray at the PNC Championship in December. The golfer will take the greens with her father, Petr Korda, and the duo will play against big speculated names like Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods, John Daly and his son, and many more.

PNC Championship posted a video on their Instagram, welcoming the father-daughter pair to this year’s match. Prior to taking the greens in some weeks, Team Korda answered a few questions, and Father P talked about what’s special about the tourney. “Spending time with the family. It’s kind of a family reunion, maybe Saturday night. So, 24 hours together, that will be special,” he stated.

Adding to what Petr said, Korda remarked that each year she gets a new treat at the PNC Championship. At this, her father chimed in and added, “Christmas present,” and Korda confirmed, “A nice, sweet Christmas present from this event.”

The event will perhaps be the last 2023 tourneys that Korda will take part in, and so expectations from her play are again heightened, especially after her performance at the CME Group Tour Championship.
